6. The sale of disability benefits information packs is subject to our Charging Policy, as published on our website and updated from time to time.
7. Due to the nature of digital content and immediate access to materials, no refunds are available for disability benefits information packs once access has been provided, except where required by law.
8. We reserve the right to update, amend, withdraw, or replace information packs to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with changes in legislation, policy, or guidance, and to manage access in line with these Terms and Conditions.
1. Our Specialist Support Worker (“SSW”) services provide information, guidance, training and reflective support relating to the recruitment, employment, training and ongoing support of trauma-responsive in-home support workers.
2. Elements of this service are provided free of charge (including introductory information and webinars). Other elements, including guidance packs, one-to-one support sessions, training and supervision, are provided on a paid basis in accordance with our Charging Policy, as published on our website and updated from time to time.
3. Our SSW services do not constitute legal advice, welfare rights representation, or advocacy. We do not act as an employer, employment agency, or intermediary with respect to SSWs, and we do not act on your behalf in communications with employees, HMRC, insurers, local authorities, or any other statutory or regulatory body unless explicitly stated in writing.
4. While our guidance is informed by experience, current best practice and trauma-responsive principles, we cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome. This includes, but is not limited to, the successful recruitment, suitability, retention or performance of a Specialist Support Worker, or any particular impact on a child, family, or household.
5. The title “Belay Specialist Support Worker” (or similar wording indicating an association with The Belay Foundation) may only be used in relation to individuals who have completed the relevant Belay training and are participating in Belay-provided supervision, where applicable. The use of this title does not imply accreditation, registration, or endorsement beyond the scope of our training and support.
6. Specialist Support Worker guidance packs and associated materials (including written content, videos and templates) are provided for personal use only. They must not be shared, distributed, reproduced, adapted, or used for training, commercial, or organisational purposes without our prior written consent.

Access to additional Q&A sessions or further support is available at an additional cost, as set out on our website or agreed in advance.
9. Due to the nature of digital content and immediate access to materials, no refunds are available for Specialist Support Worker guidance packs once access has been provided, except where required by law.
10. Where service users or Specialist Support Workers access Belay-provided training, supervision or reflective practice, any additional Terms and Conditions set out in the relevant schedules below apply in addition to this schedule and form part of the overall agreement.
11. Training, supervision and one-to-one support sessions are delivered on a supportive and reflective basis. Participation does not create a therapeutic, clinical, supervisory (in the professional regulatory sense), or employment relationship unless explicitly stated.
12. We reserve the right to update, amend, withdraw or replace guidance packs, training materials and service formats to ensure accuracy, relevance and alignment with changes in legislation, policy, safeguarding expectations or best practice, and to manage access in line with these Terms and Conditions.
1. The Belay Foundation provides training relating to trauma-responsive practice, including training for Specialist Support Workers and others supporting children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma and attachment disruption.
2. Training is delivered through a combination of:
• e-learning modules; and
• live online training sessions facilitated by a member of the Belay team.
3. Access to e-learning training materials is granted for a period of one (1) year from the date access is first provided, unless otherwise stated.
4. Where e-learning is completed in full and any required learning activities are successfully completed, participants will be issued with a certificate of completion. Certificates confirm participation and completion only and do not constitute professional accreditation, qualification, or registration.
5. Where access to e-learning or training is purchased by a third party (for example, an employing family or organisation) for a Specialist Support Worker or other individual, we cannot and do not guarantee that the individual will complete the training or engage fully with the learning materials.
6. Fees for paid training must be paid in advance, unless otherwise agreed, and are subject to our Charging Policy, as summarised on our website and updated from time to time.
7. Cancellations of booked live online training sessions must be made no later than seven (7) days before the scheduled session. Where cancellation occurs less than seven days in advance, no refund will be available, except where required by law. Participants who cancel less than seven days in advance will be permitted to book onto a future session at no additional cost provided it takes place within 2 months from the date of the cancelled session.
8. Places on live online training sessions are non-transferable without our prior written agreement. Requests to transfer a place must be made in advance and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
9. Live online training sessions are participatory in nature. Participants are expected to:
• join sessions on time;
• have their cameras switched on for the duration of the session (unless otherwise agreed in advance); and
• engage respectfully and in line with our values and safeguarding responsibilities.
10. We reserve the right to remove participants from a session where engagement requirements are not met or where behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions.
11. Training sessions are delivered in a confidential and reflective learning space. Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of the group, including not recording sessions, sharing screenshots, or disclosing personal information shared by others outside the session.
12. Participants must not record, photograph, livestream, or otherwise capture any part of live training sessions, nor share or distribute training materials (including slides, recordings, handouts or e-learning content) beyond their personal use, without our prior written consent.
13. While our training is informed by evidence-based approaches and current best practice, participation in training does not guarantee any particular outcome, including changes in practice, confidence, competence, or impact for children, families or organisations.
14. Participation in training does not create a therapeutic, clinical, supervisory (in the professional regulatory sense), employment, or contractual relationship beyond the delivery of the training itself, unless explicitly stated.
15. Any additional Terms and Conditions relating to Specialist Support Worker services, supervision, or other Belay services apply alongside this section where relevant and form part of the overall agreement.
1. The Belay Foundation offers one-to-one (“1:1”) support sessions to provide tailored information and guidance. Sessions may cover disability benefits information, Specialist Support Worker recruitment and employment, or a combination of these areas.
2. 1:1 support sessions are delivered online and are booked via our website for a specified date and time. Sessions must be paid in advance, in accordance with our Charging Policy, as published on our website and updated from time to time.
3. Our 1:1 support sessions do not constitute legal advice, employment law advice, welfare rights representation, or advocacy. We do not act on your behalf in communications with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), HMRC, employees, tribunals, or any other statutory or regulatory body unless explicitly stated in writing.
4. While our guidance is informed by experience, current guidance and best practice, we cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome. This includes, but is not limited to, the award or continuation of benefits, the successful recruitment or employment of a Specialist Support Worker, or any particular impact for a child or family.
5. Prior to the first 1:1 support session, service users will be required to complete a registration and information form. This information enables the Belay team member to prepare appropriately for the session. Failure to complete the form in advance may limit the effectiveness and value of the session, and the full benefit of the session time may not be realised.
6. The price of a 1:1 support session includes:
• the live session time itself (60 minutes); and
• up to 30 minutes of preparation and/or follow-up by the Belay team member.
Where additional preparation, follow-up, or ongoing support is required beyond this, a further 1:1 support session must be booked.
7. Cancellations or requests to reschedule a 1:1 support session must be made no later than seven (7) days before the scheduled session.
8. Where cancellation occurs less than seven days in advance, no refund will be available, except where required by law.
9. Where sufficient notice is given, we are happy to reschedule the session to a new date within one (1) month of the original booking, subject to availability.
10. If a service user does not attend a scheduled 1:1 support session, or attends significantly late, the session will be treated as delivered. Sessions will end at the scheduled end time, even where the service user joins late, and no refund or automatic rescheduling will be offered.
11. 1:1 support sessions are delivered on a supportive and collaborative basis. Participation does not create a therapeutic, clinical, supervisory (in the professional regulatory sense), employment, or ongoing advisory relationship unless explicitly stated.
12. Information and materials shared during 1:1 support sessions are provided for personal use only and must not be shared, recorded, distributed or reproduced without our prior written consent.
13. Where safeguarding concerns arise during a 1:1 support session, we may need to take appropriate action in line with our safeguarding policy, including sharing information with relevant statutory agencies where required by law.
14. We reserve the right to reschedule or rearrange a 1:1 support session where necessary due to staff availability or unforeseen circumstances. Where this occurs, we will offer an alternative date or a refund, where appropriate.
15. Any additional Terms and Conditions relating to disability benefits services, Specialist Support Worker services, training or supervision apply alongside this section where relevant and form part of the overall agreement.
1. The Belay Foundation provides group reflection sessions (also referred to as group reflective practice) for Specialist Support Workers (“SSWs”). These sessions offer a supportive space to reflect on practice, think together about challenges, and develop learning in a trauma-responsive and relational way.
2. Group reflection sessions are not formal professional supervision, clinical supervision, or case management, and do not meet the requirements of supervision associated with regulated professions. Participation does not create a therapeutic, clinical, supervisory (in the professional regulatory sense), employment, or contractual relationship beyond the delivery of the sessions.
3. Group reflection sessions are delivered online in small groups of up to four (4) Specialist Support Workers and are facilitated by a member of the Belay team.
4. Group reflection is delivered on a bi-monthly basis and is offered in annual packages of six (6) sessions, to be taken over a twelve-month period. Fees for group reflection packages must be paid in advance, in accordance with our Charging Policy, as published on our website and updated from time to time.
5. Attendance at group reflection sessions is the responsibility of the participant. No refunds are available for sessions missed due to non-attendance, except where required by law.
6. Dates and times for group reflection sessions are scheduled in advance. Where all participants in a group agree, sessions may be rescheduled by mutual agreement, subject to facilitator availability.
7. Where a group reflection package is purchased by a third party (for example, an employing family or organisation), the package may be transferred to a replacement Specialist Support Worker during the course of the package, by prior agreement with The Belay Foundation. The overall duration of the package will not be extended as a result of any such transfer.
8. Group reflection sessions are participatory and reflective in nature. Participants are expected to:
• attend sessions on time;
• have their cameras switched on for the duration of the session (unless otherwise agreed in advance); and
• engage respectfully and in line with our values and safeguarding responsibilities.
9. We reserve the right to remove participants from a session where behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions.
10. Group reflection sessions are delivered in a confidential online space. Participants must respect the confidentiality of the group, including not recording sessions, sharing screenshots, or disclosing personal information shared by others outside the session. Participants should also ensure they join the online session from a private space to ensure that the confidentiality of all participants is maintained.
11. Participants must not record, photograph, livestream, or otherwise capture any part of group reflection sessions, nor share or distribute any materials provided, without our prior written consent.
12. Where safeguarding concerns arise during group reflection sessions, we may need to take appropriate action in line with our safeguarding policy, including sharing information with relevant statutory agencies where required by law.
13. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel group reflection sessions where necessary due to facilitator availability or unforeseen circumstances. Where this occurs, we will offer a replacement session where reasonably possible.
14. Any additional Terms and Conditions relating to Specialist Support Worker services, training or other Belay services apply alongside this section where relevant and form part of the overall agreement
