Upskilling Supporters and Professionals

Are you a Support Worker, Youth Mentor, Learning Support Assistant or Personal Assistant supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma?

We have expertise in equipping professionals like you to offer the best trauma-responsive support to children in your care. We can offer you training and regular supervision to help you develop your practice and support your wellbeing.

We offer a mix of e-learning and live training in developmental trauma, attachment and associated conditions such as FASD to give you confidence in and understanding of the impact of early complex trauma. You can develop that learning through our regular online group supervision sessions. All of our training and supervision is delivered across England and Wales via online video.

Group Supervision

The Belay Foundation can support you in reflecting on and developing your professional practice.

Group supervision, otherwise known as group reflective sessions, are opportunities to join a safe online space facilitated by an experienced trauma-responsive practitioner. These are open to any professionals across England or Wales working with traumatised children or young people.

Working with and caring for children who have experienced developmental trauma can be challenging. We know that we need to be emotionally regulated before we can regulate anyone else, particularly a child or young person. Group supervision can improve your understanding, develop your practice and support your wellbeing.

To find out more call or email us with a few details around your current practice and we will get back to you.
